A week ago on the 18th of November I made a school’s visit to the year 6 and 7s at St Brigid’s Primary School, in Midland. I took along my original sketches for them to scatter through as well as a powerpoint to show my progress from a rough sketch to a final artwork. The main point in my presentation is that you need to persist. It is not enough to draw the first picture and be done with it- there is ALWAYS more you can refine. I found the children to be very energetic and attentive at the same time. They had lots of great questions and some even showed me some of their own work. Thanks for having me St Brigid’s Primary School, I look forward to seeing you again next time.
